Eating disorders are serious conditions related to how people eat, think about food, and see their body. They are not just about food itself but often involve deep emotional struggles. People with eating disorders may eat too much or too little and often worry about their weight and appearance. Types of Eating Disorders Anorexia Nervosa People with anorexia nervosa see themselves as overweight, even when they are very thin. They may eat very little, exercise too much, or both.
